Hi my name is Kelsey Prendergast! I am the New Patient Specialist and Certified Chiropractic Assistant for Nexus Chiropractic in Cary, NC. I am originally from Long Island, NY and attended St. Joseph’s University. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication with a concentration in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. I moved here from New York just under a year ago and currently live in Raleigh with my fiance, Paul, and our Golden Retriever named Tito! In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends and enjoy staying active. Some of my hobbies include yoga, hiking, and snow skiing!
I have a strong passion for wellness and making a positive impact on people’s health. I’m happy to be a part of this amazing team at Nexus Chiropractic and look forward to working with you to achieve your wellness goals!
Hi, my name is Kathy Dirago and I am the Office Manager and Certified Chiropractic Assistant for Nexus Chiropractic in Cary. I moved to NC from Maine with my husband in 2018. I am now very blessed to also have my son and my daughter along with her family living here. I have been in the chiropractic field since 2001 and have been an Office Manager and Billing Specialist since 2002. I have a true passion for the chiropractic field and helping patients. I was the President of the Maine Chiropractic Assistants Association and was named Chiropractic Assistant of the Year for the state of Maine twice.
My weekends consist of family time with my children, grandchildren and husband. We also enjoy play ng golf and spending time visiting different places in the surrounding areas.
I am excited for this new journey with the Nexus Chiropractic team and helping our patients feel their best naturally.
Hi, my name is Amanda! I’m the New Patient Scheduling Coordinator and a Certified Chiropractic Assistant at Nexus Chiropractic of Cary, NC. With a background in health care and a Medical Assistant Certification, I’ve always been passionate about helping others and supporting them on their health journey. I discovered my love for chiropractic care in 2021 and have been dedicated to the field ever since.
Originally from Michigan, I moved to North Carolina in 2017 by way of Wyoming. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring the area with friends, and loving on my two fur babies—Charlie and Meow-Meow.
Hi, my name is Kellan Adkins. I am the Neuropathy Case Manager as well as a Certified Chiropractic Assistant for ?Nexus Chiropractic in Cary. Cary has been my home since 1995, though I spent nine years living and working in three different countries in Asia. This international experience has given me a unique perspective and deep appreciation for diverse cultures. With 20 years combined experience in medical, chiropractic, and legal offices, I am dedicated to constantly improving and delivering the highest level of care to our patients with dignity and respect.
In 2018, I was honored to be named Rotarian of the Year, a recognition that reflects my commitment to service and community. Family, especially my granddaughter, are the greatest joys of my life. Traveling with my husband is my greatest passion, and I cherish every opportunity to explore new places together. I’m excited to be part of this dynamic team and look forward to contributing to our shared success.
Hi, I’m Megan, the Neuropathy Case Manager. I’m a certified Functional Nutritionist, wellness coach, and dance/fitness educator with over 20 years of experience helping people build confidence through movement and holistic health. I’ve lived in North Carolina for the past eight years and previously spent eight years overseas, where immersing myself in different cultures sparked my passion for nutrition and the gut–health connection. Through this work, I discovered how essential chiropractic care is to overall wellness and the improvement of spinal health. With a background in psychology and hands-on experience in medical offices, diagnostic imaging, neuropathy care, and spinal decompression, I’m excited to be part of the Nexus Chiropractic team and support patients on their wellness journey.
Outside of work, you’ll find me paddleboarding, hiking with my two pups, experimenting in the kitchen, and planning my next international adventure.
Hi! My name is Arya Duffy, and I am the Office Assistant and Certified Chiropractic Assistant at Nexus Chiropractic in Cary. I joined the team in September 2025 after transitioning from a career in early education. My passion for nurturing and supporting others led me here, where I have the privilege of guiding patients through their journey toward better health. I continue to learn so much from our team and am dedicated to making each patient’s experience with us as positive and enjoyable as possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the city with my husband, snuggling with my cat Sassy, and reading on my Kindle
